Pat's entire life has been built on the notion of finding joy when it appears there is none!
She is a cancer survivor; has turned around bankruptcy; repaid $80,000 in 2 years; lost her first child, lost her home and business twice; tolerated a violent relationship; had 10 car accidents in 18 months (none her fault she says!); her family did not speak for 20 years;  and she has been literally crippled by ill health. It was when her partner of 20 years left with another woman though,  that she crumbled.  But, rather than succumb to depression she found another way .

In the face of that adversity she  became:-
  • President of The National Speakers Association of New Zealand
  • The most awarded speaker in 2001
  • NZ Speaker of the Year 2002
She then :-
  • Delivered over 600 conference keynotes
  • Convened 2 international Speaker conventions
  • Anchored her own multi award winning radio show
  • Convened the NZ Humour in Business Awards
  • Raised $450,000 and built an art gallery
  • Was honoured by the Mayor at a Civic Reception in Auckland for her contribution to the nations wellbeing

Now she has launched her own TV show, "The Laughter Channel- Where Human Interest meets humour interest"

Pat can take your audience on a roller coaster of emotions, melding storytelling, artistic representation, positive psychology and emotional intelligence to lift spirits, reinvigorate individuals and teams and inspire them to give full self expression to their gifts and talents.

You are here to bring joy
Be the wind beneath their wings

A master of personal growth and joyful empowerment Pat shows how it is possible to find joy when it appears there is none.  Her high energy and joyful presence is melded with her unique raw authenticity , creating an experience that shifts perceptions and brings hope to every soul in the room.  She shows how challenge and support; paradox and synchronicity appear side by side and how they meld with the power of intention to enable transformation.

She shares highlights of her tour with Patch Adams and the lessons that came from the performing arts.  She says 'You cant lift your bottom line if your people are down". Todays statistics for depression and suicide call us to  lead  consciously thereby inspiring hope, liberating compassion and evoking joy.

The art of storytelling
Building a quilt of community

This high energy interactive keynote shows how storytelling is the single most effective business asset a person can have.  Pat portrays the evolution of storytelling through the ages showing how we can use these principles now to build our personal/business brand.  How well we can articulate our story can mean the difference between growth and failure and is key to our level of connectivity!

Pats says “
In the sharing of vulnerable moments we generate a degree of trust that is the cement of
all relationship building.   Storytelling, whether our own or others demonstrates the passage through tragedy and triumph and we learn who we really are and what our lives are about.  We become part of a multi generational quilt of community and find strengths we have forgotten.

Authentic Leadership
Shedding the mask

in order to embody conscious leadership, you must start by looking at how you can be of service to your own growth, your own expansion, and your own willingness to step outside of your comfort zone over and over again.
As a conscious leader, your job isn't to run around trying to save the world. Your job is to go within, do the inner work that allows you to show up as your most powerful, authentic self — which will in turn inspire others to do the same. Conscious leadership requires you to identify, plan for, and move through the patterns that come up every time you're about to step out of your comfort zone. These patterns can be self-sabotage, procrastination, fear of success, fear of failure, ego trips, comparison overload, and any other number of ways that you've learned to "play it safe"

Humour, Engagement and Wellbeing  - can be up to a 2 day workshop series
Every year there is more evidence that your thoughts, moods, emotions and belief systems have a fundamental impact on the body’s basic health and healing mechanisms. Candice Pert in her book, The Molecules of Emotions, found that emotions are registered and stored in the body in the form of chemical messages.  Better understanding the interaction between emotions and these chemical messages are the key to maintaining a strong health connection between the body and the mind.  It is through the emotions you experience in connection with your thoughts and daily attitudes, through the neurochemical changes that accompany these emotions, that your mind acquires the power to influence whether you get sick or remain well.

In this presentation,  which can be from one hour to 2 days,  participants get to see the patho-physiology of stress and learn how to shift their perceptions, so they can ultimately build a high nurturance organisation.
Lets get the Laughter Police operating at your place !!  And yes we do have "laughter infringement notices"
